The IRS launched a digitally authenticated Tax Compliance Report available through the IRS Individual Online Account. Taxpayers can obtain and download the report when applying for a job, a loan, a government benefit, or another service requiring tax compliance information. Financial institutions, government agencies and organizations can use the report’s built-in digital certificate to confirm its authenticity. The certificate also helps protect taxpayer information and maintains the integrity of the report. Each report includes an IRS-issued digital certificate, embedded verification features and standardized assurance. Taxpayers can access and download the report at any time through their IRS Individual Online Account.
