While not every topic in the June, 2018, “Client Bulletin,” is solely relevant to small business owners and entrepreneurs, the topics are relevant to small business owners. For example, there’s an informative article about summer vacations and the impact that employee vacations can make on productivity for your business. San Franciscans love to take their vacations (who doesn’t?), and so as a business owner it’s yet another issue on your plate – scheduling. Second, there’s an article on the continuing fuzziness concerning home equity interest loans and their deductability under the new “Trump” tax changes. Many small business owners use their Home Equity Lines of Credit (HELOCs) for cash flow purposes; now, not all of that would be tax deductible. And, finally, for those who are getting up in years there’s an informative discussion about retirement risk amidst a still-booming (as of this writing) stock market. Again, not every topic is relevant only to small business owners, but many business owners and entrepreneurs have the wealth to worry about these issues.
