May, 2015, Tax DeadlinesIt’s May and the last thing you probably want to think about is taxes. After all, we’ve just finished tax season: corporate, individual, whatever.  The 1099s, 1040s, and all those other silly numbers are now behind us (unless you filed for an extension), and we can all breathe a collective sigh of relief.

That said, here are some tax deadlines for May –

  • May 11, 2015 – Form 941 for the 1st Quarter of 2015 is due from employers.
  • May 15, 2015 – Employers much file any tax payments required.
  • June 15, 2015 – Individuals need to pay the 2nd installment of any estimated tax withholding; similarly for corporations or employers.

So yes indeed there are tax deadlines in May.  If you’re up to it, you can read IRS Publication 509 on tax deadlines.  Or you can work with us, and we’ll keep you on the steady.
