As one of San Francisco’s top-rated CPA firms for small business, we like to keep our clients informed of deadlines. It’s summer, but taxes never stop nor do tax deadlines. So while you are out enjoying the California summer, don’t forget these important tax deadlines –
- July 15, 2015 – Employers. For social security, medicare, withheld income tax, and nonpayroll withholding, deposit the tax payments in June if the monthly rule applies.
- July 31 – 2015 – Employers. Form 941 is due for the second quarter of 2015. Be sure to deposit any undeposited taxes. If your tax liability is less than $2,500 you can pay it in full with a timely filed return. If you maintain an employee benefit plan with a calendar year end, file form 5500 or 5500-EZ for calendar year, 2014.
- August 10, 2015 – Employers. For Social Security, Medicare, and withheld income tax, file form 941 for the second quarter of 2015.
- August 17, 2015 – Employers. Deposit taxes for social security, medicare, withheld income tax and nonpayroll withholding.
If you hate deadlines, you can hire us and we can help you keep track of all this fun stuff. Alternatively, many tax / payroll online and software systems can also help “remind you,” not to forget Uncle Sam while you are out in the California sun.
