As we look forward to the return of school, our newsletter looks at changes to the FAFSA. There are many strategies to “reduce” income in years during which pesky college administrators will eye your income; the FAFSA now reaches back as far as sophomore year of High School to determine aid. Another option is to change from an “S” corporation to a “C” corporation. If you have children approaching college, we can help with financial aid planning strategies. The second issue covered in the eLetter is the possible impact of any “Trump” Tax cut. Who can predict Washington? Probably no one, but that said, we keep a keen eye towards possible tax legislation, and we can always help with tax minimization strategies. Enjoy the eLetter and let’s get ready for the Fall!
